Refund Policy

Refunds

We offer a 30-day refund policy. If you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, simply send the product back and we'll promptly refund your money. Please refer to Returns for eligibility.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.


Returns

We accept returns. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@shenkuroknives.com. Items sent back to us without first requesting a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging within 30 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.

We are unable to accept returns on retailer purchases and products damaged due to customer error.

In addition, we do not accept returns for opened, non-damaged items or items that have been delivered incorrectly. We are not responsible for lost and stolen packages (unless you purchase shipping protection); please file a police report and contact your local post office.

Lastly please note that in the event of a return, we reserve the right to apply a 20% restocking fee of the purchase price for the returned item(s) to cover labor costs associated with receiving, inspecting and restocking your return (exception: we sent you a defective or wrong item, or another reasonable circumstance). Expedited shipping, priority processing or shipping insurance paid for during the time of purchase, is non-refundable as this cost was already paid to the courier for the original delivery.

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it within 7 business days and notify you via email. If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right by sending you a replacement or offering a refund.

Reporting Damages or Issues:
It is important to inspect your order promptly upon receipt. If you discover any defects, damages, or receive an incorrect item, please notify us within 30 days of delivery.
You can contact our customer service team via email at contact@shenkuroknives.com to report the issue. Please provide your order number and clear photos of the damaged or incorrect items to expedite the resolution process.

Resolution Options:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product and report it within 30 days of delivery, we will send you a replacement free of charge.

  • Alternatively, if you prefer, we can issue you a store credit that can be used towards a future purchase on our website.

  • In some cases, depending on the nature of the issue and product availability, we may offer a refund as another resolution option. Our customer service team will evaluate the situation at that time.


Cancellations

Orders are processed immediately by our fulfillment center. Therefore, orders can only be canceled up to a max of 4 hours after your purchase. Within 3 hours, we can unconditionally refund your money. Our team will try their best to intercept the package and prevent the need for a return. Otherwise, your items will have to be sent back to us once they reach you. Please refer to our return policy on how to request an RMA. We cannot cancel your order once it has already been shipped.


Shipping Costs

It is your responsibility to pay any shipping costs when returning a product. These costs are nonrefundable. Should you receive a refund on your purchase, the RMA cost of shipping will be deducted from it.

The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you will largely vary on your location.

Should the item you return be over $75, we strongly encourage you to use a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance (normally provided by us).


Customs & Import Duties

We currently only ship to the United States and Canada.

Customs policies may vary between the U.S. and Canada. Please contact your local customs office for any information about customs policies that apply in your country.

We do not take any responsibility for any additional charges for customs clearance, import duties or local taxes and we have no control over what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred in relation to those matters.

If packages are undeliverable for any reason, including customer’s refusal to pay duties, we are not responsible for return shipping costs or for retrieving merchandise and the order will not be eligible for a refund. The buyer assumes all responsibilities of claims made with the shipping carrier and all duties/fees incurred on the shipment.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on sale items. All sale items are final. Only regularly priced items are refundable.

Shipping

After your purchase our team will process your order within 1-2 business days. For U.S. and Canadian customers, you can expect to receive your package within 3-7 business days, depending on location.


Exchanges

We only exchange goods if they are in the same condition that you received them, unopened, unused, and in their original packaging, defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at contact@shenkuroknives.com with details of the product and the defect so that we can rectify the issue.
